"Junior" the Sharp-shinned Hawk was back hunting in our back yard yesterday and I immediately caught this Pack Rat! It's amazing how oportunistic the accipiters are, case in point. Why wear yourself out chasing House Sparrows when you merely have to dive off of a limb and pounce upon a fat and unsuspecting rodent!
