Ferruginous Hawks are back at nest site in Santa Fe County, NM

This massive nest has been used for years by a pair of Ferruginous Hawks. The nest is in a dying Russian Olive and the nest obviously needs some work done. I was surprised to see them back at the nest a week ago. I went back the other day and they were still there so I am hopeful they are going to be successful again. Stay tuned for more updates.
